In 2004 an affiliation was formed with the Bundeswehr Reservists from Dringenberg. This partnership has grown over the years and has flourished into a strong bond of friendship between 12th Regiment and the people of Dringenberg. Many activities have taken place involving soldiers from the regiment and our reservist friends such as; Schutzenfests, military training days, annual shooting competitions, visits to the camp and participation in the village Remembrance Parade in 2005. 2006 sees a very busy programme ahead with football matches, range days, families days out and a visit to the cemetary and museum at Arnheim. Our friends in Dringenberg have made us very welcome during our visits and the affiliation is something we are all very proud of and long may it continue.......
